High-Capacity, Low Latency Microwave Transport

As a master distributor of Nokia’s Short-Haul microwave solutions, Infinity Technology Solutions offers the full Nokia Wavence portfolio. Products in this portfolio include a variety of Ultra-Broadband Transceivers (UBT) that integrate with the Nokia Network Services Platform for common management and are fully compatible with the Nokia Microwave Service Switches (MSS) and the rest of the Nokia microwave portfolio.

What Is Short-Haul?

Short-haul microwave links provide coverage for a distance of about 1-10 kilometers and are well-suited to providing 5G coverage. Conversely, long-haul links provide coverage over a distance of 20-50 kilometers and are better suited to 4G LTE networks that are licensed to governmental or military entities.

Benefits of Ultra-Broadband Transceivers (UBT)

The Nokia Wavence short-haul solution with UBT provides high-capacity, low-latency microwave transport for short-haul applications for all traditional frequency bands.

The UBT supports backhaul evolutions with low latency transport and multi-gigabit capacities with high transmitted power both in full-outdoor and split-mount configurations and uses the most advanced radio technologies and multi-frequency carrier aggregation.

Wavence UBT-C

Nokia introduces a new element in the UBT family: the UBT-C. The UBT-C is a 1G Compact version for tail and enterprise. It targets simple configurations like 1+0 or 1+1.

Wavence UBT-S

An innovative product design in the Wavence UBT-S, including a hardware split between the active wideband radio part and the Antenna Interface Module (AIM), helps to simplify installation, maintenance, and spare part management.

Wavence UBT-T

A “dual carrier in a box” configuration allows the UBT-T to support multiple microwave frequencies. The UBTs support backhaul and Ethernet fronthaul evolutions with multi-gigabit capacities and low latency transport with best-in-class transmitted power by using the most advanced radio technologies and multi-frequency carrier aggregation.

Networking Interface Module

An innovative product design ensures the Nokia Wavence NIM is capable of simply being plugged into an existing or new UBT, providing additional features in an overall compact form factor. The NIM also provides advanced Carrier Ethernet networking, L3VPN, and aggregation and demarcation functions.

Wavence Microwave Service Switch (MSS)

The Nokia Wavence family includes a flexible range of Microwave Service Switch (MSS) indoor units, including the MSS-E and MSS-HE, which are high-performance, fanless units ready for the challenges of 5G transport. The MSS family is optimized to reduce power consumption and space and provides different form factors to address various network sizes and locations, including tail, hub, and backbone.

The entire MSS family uses the same software and management systems, enabling consistent operations across end-to-end packet microwave networks. Products in the MSS family include:
