Infinity Technology Solutions to Exhibit at APCO NC 2022

From May 1st-May 4th, 2022, Infinity Technology Solutions is delighted to announce that we will be exhibiting at the North Carolina Public Safety Communications Conference (North Carolina APCO) at the Wilmington Convention Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. The APCO conference brings together a who’s who of presenters and public safety experts from across North Carolina and the American southeast to discuss and share on matters concerning public safety communications.

As a member-driven association, NC APCO offers leadership and provides opportunities for professionals in the field of public safety communications. They encourage members to use their knowledge to influence the decisions of government and industry in promoting a safer public space for everyone. Among the issues that most interest those attending this year’s APCO Expo, there will be a strong focus on the intersection between technology and public safety.

This year’s conference will be especially noteworthy as North Carolina APCO will be celebrating its 60th anniversary as an organization. Hosted in partnership with North Carolina NENA—which can be called the “voice of 911” and is at the forefront of emergency communications as the sole professional organization focused on 911 policy, technology, operations, and education—APCO NC is “grateful” for partnerships past and present. These partnerships have enabled North Carolina’s “diverse community of 911 and other public safety communications professionals to participate in this year’s important continuing education opportunity.”

The main goal of this three-day event is to educate those in the public safety communications and 911 community on the latest trends, topics, and technologies available today. As the North Carolina chapter of APCO International, which has a course curriculum that revolves around topics from technological innovations in public safety communication to 911 operators role in policing, Infinity firmly believes in the mission of APCO NC, as well as the broader mission of its parent organization.

With roots stretching back to 1935, APCO International is the world’s oldest and largest organization dedicated to public safety communications professionals. APCO’s more than 35,000 members include everyone who manages, operates, builds, and supports communication systems for public safety agencies.

APCO International’s broad and inclusive professional membership can be seen in the presentations at this year’s North Carolina APCO Conference. From talks on how social media is impacting communication in public safety to discussions on the importance of emotional intelligence for emergency dispatchers to the role that technologies developed by private business will play in the next generation of public safety communications, there is truly something for everyone at this year’s conference.

On the afternoon of Monday, May 2nd, the APCO Conference will open its Vendor Hall, where we have a booth alongside our colleagues in public safety technologies. At Infinity, we recognize that public safety agencies have increasingly come to rely on mobile networking in order to protect the public and themselves. In order to do their jobs, our police, firefighters, and emergency first responders require the microwave and IP networking solutions that keep those in the field on top of any developments that may arise during a crisis.

We look forward to sharing our knowledge with those who drop by our booth, as well as learning from others in the field of public safety communications.
